Grandpa's Khanom Jeen, Phetchabun town.

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck #GetDiscountsWithoutLuck #GayInTheKitchen I'll tell you that if anyone visits Phetchabun, if you don't stop by "Khanom Jeen Khunta", you've really missed out! This shop is a hidden gem that foodies like us have to put on our list. The atmosphere of the shop is very homey and warm, like you're really eating Khanom Jeen at Khunta's. The shop is on the side of the main road, so it's not hard to find. There's some parking space in front of the shop. If you're not comfortable driving, I'll tell you that there are also songthaews and motorcycle taxis that you can easily call. ⸻ 🍛 Must-try menu highlights! • Khanom Jeen Namya Pa - Spicy and spicy with authentic Thai herbs. It has the aroma of galangal, lemongrass, and dried chili. Eat it with fresh vegetables that the shop provides for free. You can take as much as you want. It's really good. • Coconut Milk Curry - For those who like something a little sweet and well-balanced, Khunta's coconut milk curry is fragrant with fresh coconut milk but not too greasy. It's simmered until fragrant, rich, but not too heavy. Eat it with chewy and soft Khanom Jeen noodles and it's awesome! • Grandpa's sweet chili paste - I have to say thank you! It's so delicious, Mom. It's a sweet and salty flavor that goes well with rice vermicelli or mixed with boiled eggs and boiled vegetables. It's another kind of deliciousness. It's like eating rice mixed with chili paste at your grandmother's house 😂 • Fried meatballs, fried sausages - These are also secretly delicious. You can grab some to eat before it's your turn for rice vermicelli. This shop's fried food isn't oily at all. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Dipping it in the special sauce is so enjoyable that you'll accidentally have more! • Desserts/herbal drinks - They have butterfly pea juice, pandan juice, and bael fruit juice. They're so refreshing and great for reducing the spiciness. There are also Thai desserts like coconut jelly, steamed dumplings, and steamed cup cakes for you to choose from. You can grab a bite and have a temple fair feel. ⸻ 👴🏼 Grandpa's shop story This shop has been open for over 30 years! It started with my grandfather who liked to make and sell rice vermicelli in front of his house using a curry recipe passed down from his grandmother. He made it himself in a simple way. One day, he had many regular customers who parked their cars to buy, until he had to expand and open a small shop on the side of the road like he does today. The new generation of children continue to take care of the shop and maintain the original taste, no reduction in ingredients or quality. It's so good! ⸻ 🕘 Opening and closing hours: Open every day from 08.00 to 14.00. I recommend coming before noon because sometimes they sell out really fast. 🚗 Parking: There is parking in front of the shop for about 4-5 cars or you can park on the side of the road nearby (but don't make it obstructive). 🛵 Transportation: If you don't have a private car, you can take a local songthaew or use a ride-hailing app like Grab or Bolt, which is very convenient. ⸻ 📸 Photo spot: Don't forget to take a photo with the "Khanom Jeen Khun Ta" sign in front of the shop. It feels like you're visiting a kind-hearted relative. Or take a photo with a bowl of chili paste with all kinds of things, which is also quite classic! ⸻ 💸 Approximate price: • Khanom Jeen set 40–50 baht (can choose the curry) • Fried food starts at 10 baht per stick • Herbal drinks 10–15 baht per glass • Desserts sold in cups 10 baht The price is cute, worth it, very worthwhile ⸻ For those who want to experience a homely atmosphere and eat authentic Khanom Jeen made by grandpa, you have to come and try it. I tell you, it's worth every bite. Spicy lovers, traditional Thai lovers, and photography lovers will definitely love it. ⸻ #KhanomJinGrandpa #PhetchabunMustCome #SpicyloversDontMiss #GayTakesYouToTravel #GayInTheKitchen #GayEater #EatAtTheRestaurant #GirlfriendsTakeYouToSpicy #PhetchabunReview #HomelyButDeliciousKhanomJin #FoodloversDontMissIt #Delicious7YanNam #ReviewGreatRestaurant #HiddenGem #EatAndKeep #TraditionalKhanomJin #WhatToEatPhetchabun #FriendsBringMeTo #PhetchabunIsSoDelicious ⸻ Are You Ready To Get Your Belly Full? 💕 If so, go for it.
