This slice of paradise is all about limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and unforgettable boat rides. I stayed on Koh Phi Phi Don, the only inhabited island, and explored the famous Maya Bay — even more breathtaking in real life. While you can’t swim there anymore, the view is pure magic, especially at sunrise. Next stop: Pileh Lagoon, an emerald-green cove surrounded by cliffs. We swam, relaxed, and just soaked in the peaceful silence. I booked a private longtail boat — the best way to explore at your own pace. Snorkeling at Monkey Beach was surreal — colorful fish, coral reefs, and even reef sharks! And don’t miss the hike to the Viewpoint — the panorama of the twin bays is totally worth the climb. Evenings in Tonsai Village are cozy and lively. No cars, just beach bars, fire shows, and Thai BBQ.
