Bought a bus ticket to Siem Reap in the evening, so I arranged a one-day city walk tour in Phnom Penh. . If you don't want to rush through the itinerary like a special forces soldier, and just want to slowly experience the capital, our travel style can be used as a reference~ . 1️⃣ From the airport to the city The visa on arrival process was very smooth and efficient! Took a Grab to Larryta Bus Station to store our luggage. . 2️⃣ Wat Phnom Walked from Larryta, and had lunch on the way. 🎫 USD 1/person The steps at the entrance are the best place to take photos (P1+5) There are very few people in the temple, and it is very quiet. I personally think it is very worthwhile! . 3️⃣ Royal Palace Took a tuk-tuk to the Royal Palace for less than RMB 10. 🎫 USD 10/person It can be said to be one of the most worthwhile attractions in Phnom Penh, and there are not many people there~ The museum is next door, so you can visit it on the way. . 4️⃣ Visit the market Central Market, Old Market, and Phnom Penh Night Market are all very close to each other. After visiting Phnom Penh Night Market, the exit is the Mekong River, and many night cruise ships are docked on the shore. . ⚠️ I originally wanted to join the Mekong River Sunset Cruise, but it needs to be booked one day in advance. In addition, we gave up on the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, but if you want to go, you can make it in time. . ❗️ Some useful tips ❶ It is recommended to prepare some stomach medicine. We already had diarrhea several times on the first day. 😭 ❷ US dollars are widely used, so prepare some cash. The visa on arrival is USD 30/person, and you can also use US dollars to pay for food and shopping. Change is given in a mix of US dollars and Cambodian riel. ❸ Use Grab to get around.
