Central Florida’s Circle B Bar Reserve

This sprawling nature preserve is located in Lakeland Florida on the north shore of Lake Hancock. Circle B Bar Reserve is nearly 1,200 acres and filled with hundreds of local flora and fauna! If you want to escape the Florida heat for a bit you can visit the Nature Discovery Center on the property. It boasts several interactive exhibits, educational murals, an indoor playground and artifacts on loan from the Polk County Museum! Circle B Bar Reserve is a great place to take an educational field trip or have a picnic. The few hours we were there we saw 7 native bird species, a baby alligator and a wild hog!
