He was actually born at Ieharaji Temple in Sakai, and is said to have built this earthen tower. It seems that he had a connection with the former Ono-ji Temple, which no longer exists. It was a mini trip to follow the footsteps of Gyoki, who devoted himself to flood control all over the country, including Sayama Pond.
