Seville Giralda Tower and Seville Cathedral

#JulyTravelSupport This beautiful tower standing tall on one side of the Seville Cathedral is more than just a bell tower. **La Giralda** is the symbol of Seville, a monument to the times and a work of art where two cultures, Islam and Christianity, are layered. Originally, this tower was **a minaret of a mosque** built by the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century. At the time, this tower was the tallest in Andalusia, and its beauty and structure were preserved even after the conquest, and in the early 16th century, a Renaissance-style bell tower was added, completing the appearance we see today.
