Having struggled in Shanghai for ten years, I stumbled upon a hidden treasure - Zhenru Park. Especially in winter, the winter sweet blossoms here are as vast as the sea, making one feel as if they are in a beautiful painting. Every year when the winter sweet is in full bloom, a special exhibition is held, and this year is no exception. Winter sweet, true to its name, is a flower that blooms in the cold winter months. It frequently appears in traditional Chinese paintings, representing the charm of classical China. The entrance to Zhenru Park may be unassuming, but as you approach, you are drawn in by the unique fragrance of the winter sweet. Despite the recent rainy days in Shanghai, this has not affected the splendid blooming of the winter sweet. The park contains over a thousand varieties of winter sweet, each with a unique fragrance. There are also more than 70 bonsai-style winter sweets on display alongside other New Year flowers, a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern that catches the eye. Zhenru Park may be small, but it offers a different view with every step. It's a pleasure to stroll leisurely through it.
