〰️ 'To Yan'an', this stage play, brings together a group of artists with exceptional acting skills. Through their exquisite performances, they endow the characters with rich souls, leading us deep into that period of history to experience the joys and sorrows of the characters. The nine main characters, each representing an idealistic youth, touched my heartstrings deeply, with many scenes in the play moving me to tears. 〰️ At the same time, the Shanghainese dialogues integrated into the play make me, as a Shanghainese, feel an extra sense of intimacy, warmth, and authenticity. The stage design is ingeniously crafted, vividly recreating the unique atmosphere of Shanghai during the isolated island period, which was both bizarre and deeply scarred, making one feel as if they have traveled back to that tumultuous era. 〰️ In terms of music🎶, the interlude 'Forever Separated by a River' was chosen, with its melody perfectly blending with the plot and characters, deepening the emotional delivery.
