I saw it advertised for over RM2700 on the official site, but we booked it even cheaper with our choice of cabin and floor. Here’s my full review so you can decide if it’s worth it! 🧳 What to Prepare Before Boarding 1. Toothbrush & toothpaste – Not provided unless you’re staying in a suite 2. Motion sickness pills – Bring your own or ask at the guest service center 3. Skincare products – Don’t forget your routine! 4. Electronics – Anything over 230V needs a converter (available at guest center too). Rooms have USB & Type-C ports, even bedside USBs – plenty for charging 5. Essentials – Passport valid for 6+ months, ID card, cruise ticket, luggage tags (print on A4 at home) 6. Small crossbody bag – For carrying your cruise card, passport copy, etc. 7. Big water bottle – The 10th floor buffet offers milk, juice, coffee on tap! 🍽 Where to Eat (AKA Why I Gained 5 Pounds) • Palace Main Dining Room (3F) – Buffet for breakfast/lunch, à la carte for dinner • Baltic Restaurant (3F) – Alternative dining option • Miracle Garden Buffet (10F) – All-day buffet & afternoon tea Tip: Everything is unlimited. You’ve been warned. 🛏 Cabin Types on the Cruise Ship (Magic City) • Interior Cabin – Budget-friendly, available in solo/double/triple/quad • Ocean View Room – With windows (non-opening); recommended Premium Ocean View includes two bathrooms and a bathtub • Balcony Room – Private balcony perfect for photos; best WiFi on 7F mid-ship • Bavarian Interior/Balcony – Same size as regular cabins but includes welcome snacks, a mini fridge, and VIP perks. Balcony connects to deck path, so less private • Panoramic Suite – Biggest room with walk-in closet, private balcony, best views on 8F–9F, quieter too
