Quite a lively atmosphere

In terms of location, the hotel is situated in a bustling area of Shantou, adjacent to MixC, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. In the evening, there are also some small stalls, which add to the lively atmosphere. If you want to visit tourist attractions like Shantou Small Park, I think taking a taxi is a good choice. It's quite easy to hail a cab at the hotel entrance. The overall stay experience was positive. Although the room showed some signs of age, the facilities were well-maintained. The only issue we encountered was poor window sealing in the room. After reporting it, the hotel provided a timely and effective solution by replacing all the window seals in the room. Additionally, the service attitude of the hotel staff is commendable. The check-in process was smooth, and AMEX cards are accepted. The doorman in the lobby was also very dedicated, welcoming guests at the door even late at night, which felt very heartwarming. Breakfast is served in the hotel's first-floor lobby, which is quite spacious. Although 9-10 AM should be peak dining time during holidays, there was no queue, indicating a high throughput. The breakfast offers a noodle station and special stalls featuring local snacks, with a fairly rich variety. The lounge's decor is also nice, and the concierge at the entrance is quite professional. All guests entering and exiting the lounge are greeted. The lounge holds a Happy Hour every day, offering hot dishes. Additionally, a few wines and whiskies are available. At other times, snacks and coffee are provided, all of which are fairly standard. Moreover, the lounge offers a nice view from the windows, as it is on the top floor of the hotel, allowing you to see the sea and the bridge. Despite the slightly outdated decor, the excellent service and prime location made my stay at this Sheraton meaningful. Overall, it is worth recommending.
