Purely self-funded test! Shenzhen Qianhai OCT Le Méridien Hotel Experience Full Analysis As a loyal fan of Marriott Hotels, I started a plan to review 100 Marriott hotels at my own expense. Today I'm going to share my experience of staying at Le Méridien Qianhai OCT Shenzhen. I did not visit the hotel during the whole trip and it was purely for self-residence and not for business trip. My evaluation is absolutely objective and I hope it can provide some reference for everyone. The price was about 1,000, and the price should have dropped now. I stayed in the executive suite, and I will describe it in detail from every aspect. 💰️Per capita consumption The price at the time of opening was around 1,000, which is quite cost-effective in the Shenzhen hotel market, especially compared with the JW Marriott Qianhai in the same area. It is worth it to enjoy such services and facilities at this price. 🏘️️️Room type/layout I stayed in the executive suite on the 25th floor and the overall experience was great! The suite adopts a fully open layout design with a full sense of space transparency. The space of about 80 square meters creates a circular space system with clear functional divisions. There is an independent guest bathroom, walk-in closet, master bathroom suite, living area and bedroom area. The layout is reasonable and very convenient to use. The double basin configuration in the master bathroom is very thoughtful, and the landscape-style window-mounted built-in bathtub is a plus, and it also achieves dry and wet separation. The living space has a 270-degree panoramic floor-to-ceiling curtain wall, providing an excellent view, and the sunlight that shines in during the day is particularly comfortable. 🛌Supplies/Facilities The room is equipped with an Italian illy coffee machine and B&O speakers, both of which are of very good quality and can add a lot of fun to your stay. The lighting system has an intelligent dimming function, the luminous flux control in night mode is precise, and the lighting atmosphere is just right. The overall facilities are well maintained, and the advantages of a new opening are fully displayed without the troubles caused by old facilities. 🧹Sound insulation/sanitation The sanitation is worthy of praise. Every corner of the room is cleaned very cleanly, without any dead corners. The sound insulation effect is also very good. When you are in the room, you can hardly hear any noise from the outside world and can enjoy a quiet and comfortable resting environment. 💗Other tips 1. Service: The front desk and concierge staff were warm and attentive. They processed check-in and check-out very quickly and gave away small hotel-customized peripherals, such as fragrances. The favorability was high and the service could be rated 4 points. 2. Food and Beverage: When it first opened, the breakfast and lounge were average, but my friends said that there may be improvements recently. The breakfast variety is not rich and the quality needs to be improved. The food and drink options in the lounge are limited, but the service is good. 3. Surroundings: The hotel’s surroundings are relatively remote. If you are not traveling for business or have special needs in the surroundings, it is not recommended for traveling to Shenzhen alone. Apart from the convenience of going to the airport, going to other popular attractions or business districts requires a lot of time on the road. As a younger brand under Marriott, Le Méridien Shenzhen Qianhai OCT Hotel maintains Le Méridien's consistent elegance and design sense, and also incorporates Nanyang elements. This collision of Nanyang and French styles is very distinctive, and the experience in both public areas and rooms is very good. But the overall cost-effectiveness and unique style are still worth experiencing.
