Among them, the Fuyi Hotel, which has a history of more than 440 years, is located at the top of the famous Shiduan Street. However, because it is at the top, you have to climb many stairs, so it is recommended to bring light luggage. 🚌How to get to Ikaho Fukuichi Hotel from Tokyo: 1. Tram and bus combination: From Ueno Station, take the JR Limited Express Kusatsu Shiman Train and arrive at Shibukawa Station in about 1 hour and 40 minutes. At Shibukawa Station, transfer to the Kan-etsu Kotsu Bus bound for Ikaho Onsen. The ride takes about 25 minutes and you get off at the Ishidan-gaiguchi bus stop. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from Shiduan Street to Fuyi Hotel. 2. Direct express bus: Take the Ikaho Shima Onsen Express Bus from the Yaesu South Exit of Tokyo Station and arrive at the Ishidangaiguchi Bus Stop in about 3 hours. After getting off the bus, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to Fuyi Hotel. We chose the express bus to go directly, so we didn't have to transfer with our heavy luggage. It was very convenient. 🏨Fukuichi Hotel consists of two main buildings: Manyo Building and Qianshu Building We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room. From the window, we could see the entire red leaves, which was breathtaking! The dinner for one night and two meals is kaiseki cuisine, which combines seasonal ingredients and is exquisite and delicious. Breakfast was a buffet. We sat by the window and enjoyed breakfast while watching the red leaves. ♨️There are multiple hot spring facilities in the hot spring hotel, and the spring water comes from Ikaho’s famous Golden Hot Spring and Silver Hot Spring. The men's large public bath "Fuku-no-Yu" offers spacious indoor baths and open-air baths, allowing you to relax in the fresh air; the women's large public bath "Ichi-no-Yu" is surrounded by natural scenery that changes with the seasons, creating a peaceful bathing atmosphere.
