A free and easy-to-climb mountain in Shijiazhuang

The weather was nice on the weekend, so I chose a nearby mountain to start a new chapter of "exercising and saving money" this year. Lianwuzhai Mountain has an abandoned air-raid shelter. The whole journey is about 6.5 km, with an elevation gain of only 200 meters. We took 4.5 hours to walk and play. Overall, it is more interesting than Gujiayu, and the difficulty is about the same. After climbing the mountain, you can have a meal and chat here. Climbing tips: 1. You will pass through a dark air-raid shelter, so prepare a flashlight in advance. When you reach the fork, there is an arrow indicating the direction. You can get out in a few minutes. It is very cold inside, so you can come here to escape the heat in summer. 2. After passing through the air-raid shelter, you can see the ski resort and Deming Ancient Town in Xibu Changqing. There is a section of the boardwalk with a nice view. 3. The top of the mountain is paved with steps, just like the paved version of the ridge road in Gujiayu. 4. There are many chinaberry trees and apricot trees (or peach trees) in the mountain. If you come here in April or May, the mountain flower track is also worth a visit. 5. Halfway through the route, you will pass by a barbed wire fence on the way down the mountain, and you need to pass through it with a low center of gravity. 6. The route up and down the mountain is easy to walk. The uphill is a semi-developed dirt road, and the downhill is a small path in the mountain. Many people have been here, and the route is obvious. 7. At the foot of the mountain is Xishan No. 9 and Jianshan Restaurant, a lively place. I didn't know there were such restaurants and tea houses in the mountains.
