Honest Review of Shizuoka's Local Restaurant, Kaizan

The fish katsu and shirasu sashimi I had at Kaizan, a restaurant in Shizuoka, left a lasting impression. The fish katsu had a crispy batter with tender and moist flesh inside, offering a perfect texture. It was light and not greasy, making it an enjoyable dish without feeling heavy. The shirasu sashimi, a rare seasonal delicacy, was even more special. The translucent shirasu melted in my mouth, providing a unique sensation. It was incredibly fresh with no fishy taste, and when paired with the special soy sauce, the umami flavor was enhanced. Overall, I felt like I truly experienced the freshness of local seafood that you can only find here. The restaurant's atmosphere and the staff's service were also excellent, making it a highly satisfying experience. If I visit Shizuoka again, this is a place I would definitely return to. ❤️
