Conveniently located right next to Clarke Quay Station, Paradox Singapore Merchant Court was the perfect place for a stay, with excellent access to sightseeing and shopping! I highly recommend staying here with breakfast included! 🍒 ☕ TWG Tea TWG tea, a luxury Singaporean tea brand, was available not only at the breakfast buffet but also in the guest rooms. ✨ It was so luxurious to be able to choose your favorite flavor and enjoy it at your leisure. 🍃 🛏 Room The room was spacious, clean, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The sink and shower were also clean. ◎ 🍳 Breakfast Buffet The highlight of this hotel was definitely the buffet! Universal Studios Singapore (USS), a theme park on Sentosa Island where you can experience the world of movies. 🎬 Start at the Hollywood area at the entrance! Took a quiet stroll at the Lily Pond in Gardens by the Bay and it was such a peaceful spot amidst the greenery. The blooming lilies floating on the water, with dragonflies hovering above, made it feel like a little escape from the city. 🚂 Poonnnnn! Today, I'm sharing a budget-friendly travel guide for teenagers. We went to Singapore with friends over Christmas and I can tell you everything was awesome, except for the ticket prices! 🤣 The savings on this trip were because we stayed at a friend's house, which meant we didn't have to spend a lot on accommodation. Instead, we spent a lot on food and travel. So, today, I'm sharing a plan for those of you who are going to Singapore, in case you're looking for a relaxing trip with fewer tourists. Day 1: Singapore Changi Airport. During our trip, the airport had an Avatar theme, which was so beautiful! Jewel Changi Airport, dragging our luggage to Jewel, the airport mall, to see Singapore's development. It was so beautiful and magnificent, but it was also crowded (even though we had an early flight 😭). National Museum of Singapore: After arriving home, we packed up and went out to continue our sightseeing! We bought our ezlink cards and everything. Our first stop was the museum. It was so beautiful, but the entrance fee was quite filling. Marina Bay was a bit of a hassle. After that, we took a city bus to the Marina Bay area! I recommend going up to the second floor of the bus. It's so beautiful! ArtScience Museum. Book a ticket to see the cool exhibition from teamlabs. It's worth it! The price is reasonable, but be sure to allow plenty of time because the Singapore River is truly breathtaking. *MERLION PARK: Walk around the river and enjoy the stunning view! There's also a boat tour, but we opted to walk. We kept walking until we saw the Merlion and hundreds of people taking selfies with it. It was discouraging, so we stayed a bit distant and gave him a worried look. Day 2: Universal Studios Singapore. This was the only place I could spend a full day at. Even with the allotted time, I still couldn't do everything. I was very impressed. I went with a standard ticket, but I got to play a lot. Plus, my ticket included a free snack and drink package and discounts on souvenirs. If you're going there, I recommend planning your day and time well. Arrive early and leave just before closing time (I missed the casino because I wasn't 21 yet). 🎡🎢 Day 3: National Botanical Garden Singapore. We strolled leisurely from Nassim Road, where there's a shopping mall, to the Botanical Gardens without realizing it. I got lost without realizing it. But it was so much fun because the roads were nice and the atmosphere was great. We walked to eat Shake Shack and the park was huge! The friendly uncle who took care of us was very helpful and gave us directions. I was impressed. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a luxury mall with a boat cruise inside the mall and various brands are all there. It's a real tourist hub, but you can also walk to the top to enjoy the view. It's beautiful and free. Marina Bay Sands Garden Park: This route from Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay is crowded and tiring, but the view is great and the weather is nice. GARDEN BY THE BAY is incredibly crowded. The park is so vast, it's tiring to walk around. But the park is so magnificent, and the lights are amazing. Stayed at W Hotel on Sentosa Island, Singapore. This was the first time my partner and I experienced W together, and it felt very special. 🏘️Room type/layout: This time we stayed in the 80-square-meter Fabulous Suite. The room continues the consistent style of W Hotels. The bedroom door opens to a pool view, and looking down you can see some private pools of the first-floor rooms; on the corner balcony, there is a bed placed in a secluded spot, facing away from the harbor, making it mostly invisible from other rooms, offering good privacy. The bathroom is spacious and well-designed. 🛌Amenities/facilities: The room facilities are a bit dated. There is purple-red lighting under the bed, equipped with a hanging chair and a huge sofa, which is quite unique. A TV is installed above the bathtub, allowing you to watch shows synced with the bedroom TV. The hotel pool is large, with many sofas and loungers, open 24 hours, but the water slide closes in the evening. 💗Other tips: - The concierge service is very warm and friendly. When checking in, they offer a small drink, and the room comes with complimentary W Hotel Singapore chocolates, which are very sweet. - The breakfast has a wide variety of fruits, including peeled jackfruit strips, as well as dim sum like shrimp dumplings. - Singapore is quite hot outdoors, so be sure to take precautions against heat when resting on the balcony bed. - Sentosa Island has shuttle buses for convenient travel, and W Hotel has its own dedicated stop. - Dining prices on the island are relatively high. We recommend Coastes by the sea, which has a comfortable ocean view and delicious fried chicken wings; for better value, you can eat at the Big Times food court in Vivocity mall, the last stop of the Sentosa Express. Mr Coconut in the mall is also worth trying, especially the original and Oreo flavors, with 25% sugar level recommended for a good taste.
