🇸🇬This is the right way to go for your first trip to Singapore!
Singapore is truly perfect for a CityWalk!
This day trip, from the golden dome of the Mosque to the dome of the Gardens by the Bay,
allows you to check out landmarks, snap beautiful photos, browse markets, and enjoy coffee all in one go.
It's perfect for first-timers in Singapore, or for returning to catch up on missed opportunities.
👣 Route:
Sultan Mosque → Haji Lane → Bugis Street → St. Andrew's Church → Fort Canning Park → Old Hill Street Police Station → Chinatown → CapitaSpring → Merlion Park → Gardens by the Bay
📍Must-see attractions:
🕌Masjid Sultan Mosque
The cultural soul of Kampong Glam! The golden dome is truly photogenic, so I recommend visiting in the morning when it's less crowded. Haji Lane, just a two-minute walk away, is a vibrant alley filled with colorful murals and graffiti, a must-see for hipsters!
🎨Haji Lane
Singapore's trendiest street art destination, with graffiti walls, independent shops, and unique cafes, it's a truly captivating place to snap photos.
🛍Bugis Street
Singapore's hub for affordable shopping, offering everything from food and drinks to clothing. The air conditioning is super comfortable, perfect for a midday escape from the heat.
⛪St. Andrew's Cathedral
The white Gothic architecture is tranquil and sacred, and the grassy area outside is a great place to sit and meditate.
🌳Fort Canning Park
Checking out this popular tree hole is a matter of personal preference. If you don't think the long lines are worth it, try going to the front of the line to catch a break and take a photo.
🌈Old Hill Street Police Station
The rainbow-windowed building is a dopamine-fueled experience!
🧧Chinatown
Foodie paradise! There are a variety of snacks and souvenir shops. The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Chinatown Point are both worth a visit. I recommend trying the traditional chicken rice or Hokkien prawn noodles.
🌿CapitaSpring Rooftop Garden
A hidden free attraction! The 51st-floor sky garden offers incredible views of the CBD and Marina Bay—perfect for photos!!
📌 Reservations:
Book on the official website 14 days in advance for free admission, but only Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM - 6 PM. If you can't make a reservation or don't want to be restricted by time, you can buy a ticket for S$10 at the ground floor entrance. This ticket can also be redeemed for a drink at the 51st-floor bar.
🐟Merlion Park
A must-see attraction for tourists. "Getting wealth, drinking water, washing hair, and in one ear, out the other"—a perfect set, right?
🌸Gardens by the Bay
A dreamy finale to Singapore's nightlife! The Supertree light show runs daily (7:45 PM and 8:45 PM). Admission is free. If you want to enter the conservatory, we recommend booking your ticket online in advance.
📌Practical Tips:
Choose comfortable, lightweight shoes! This route involves approximately 15,000 steps.
Bring a sun umbrella, sunglasses, and mosquito repellent.
We recommend combining public transportation and walking to save energy and enjoy the air conditioning.
If it rains, skip the outdoor attractions. CapitaSpring or the National Gallery can be used as alternatives.
