Hvala Coffee

#singaporetrip We’re pretty sure you have heard of Hvala before, the aesthetic Japanese café & teahouse chain that specialises in matcha tea-based beverages. 🇯🇵 They are now back with a new outlet near Haji Lane! 🙌🏻 Unlike the others, their fourth outpost is a takeaway-only concept with retail items. The space design feels like you’re walking through a zen garden, as you walk through a winding pavement with white pebbles by the side. 🌳 We had the 𝗜𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗼 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱, which is an outlet-exclusive. It’s not too sweet and the strawberries tasted fresh! There isn’t an overpowering sourness too, just nice. 🍓The 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲 has a nice earthy taste which is amplified by the soy milk. It’s not the best we tasted, but it’s good. 🍵 We had the 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶, which has a jelly-like texture rather than the firmer bite from the mochis we had before.
