Hiking the rail corridor

This is the day that I clocked 12km and 30,000 steps within 6 hours hiking the northern rail corridor in Singapore. I started the hike after breakfast, approximately 10am and ended the hike around 4pm, with muddy shoes, aching knees and flushed cheeks. The hike was easy and manageable as it was mostly walking on flat ground and dirt paths, but the weather was merciless! It was sunny but drizzled half way through and I was caught in the rain. Luckily I had my umbrella to the rescue and managed to continue with the hike. There were some parts near Kranji that was pure wilderness. The trees were towering and formed a canopy. It was a sight to behold walking into the forest. #createwithtrip #hiking #naturewonders #singapore
