The pineapple cake is wrapped in something like mooncake dough, and has a strong pineapple scent. The paste is sticky and sweet. I prefer it with less sugar, so I thought the one from another shop with a more natural taste was more delicious. I saw some cute cat-shaped sweets, so I wish I had tried those... [2. Nourishing Confectionery] A cookie-sandwich type pineapple cake that is different from other pineapple cakes. The luxurious packaging makes it a good gift. It's even more delicious when eaten chilled. To be honest, it may not be called "pineapple cake", but it definitely tastes good. Maybe because I went near closing time, the customer service of the staff was not that good. [3. The outside was crumbly, the inside was sour and crispy, and it was so delicious that I bought a box. The cat-shaped box was so cute that I couldn't throw it away. There was a cat on the packaging, which was so cute that it was soothing 😊 It's one of the pineapple cakes I'm glad I bought! 4. [He Xing Yi Nine Four Qi] A popular store for rice cakes. There are a variety of traditional Taiwanese sweets lined up and you can purchase them individually. The size is perfect for eating on the go! I was also interested in the buns, but this time I bought a sponge-like steamed pastry. When I said I wanted to eat it in the store, they steamed it again for me. They also gave me tea as a service, which I'm grateful for 🙏 It had a simple taste and was delicious. I like the atmosphere of the store. 5. [Juji Xuan Cake Shop] A long-established pastry shop popular with locals. I bought a large pineapple mooncake. The lineup is quite extensive, so it's hard to choose, but it seems like a store that caters to the tastes of locals rather than foreigners. The pineapple mooncake was average. I feel like I'll be satisfied with just one purchase. There are many shops that sell pineapple cakes and sweets, and they are all great places to buy souvenirs!
