Boarding the return flight in an unexpected turn of events 🫢 Boarding month: November 2023 Airline: Starlux Airlines Flight/route: JX800 TPE→NRT Aircraft: A350-900 / B-58501 Seat: Business class Since returning from Taiwan was a rare opportunity, I chose premium economy, which is only available on A350-900 aircraft 🖐️ After completing online check-in in advance, I arrived at the airport early to enjoy the lounge on the day. I went to the counter to have my boarding pass issued, but I was told, "The person in charge will be there, so please wait a while," which was an unexpected turn of events 💦 I was worried that I had done something wrong, but the result was an offer for an upgrade 🤩 I had pre-ordered in-flight meals, so I gave them up, and there was no refund for the seats I had reserved for a fee, and I even went to the trouble of signing a document! I was just excited 😆 So this was my second experience in A350 business class ✨ There was a Japanese flight attendant on board. The spacious space was wonderful! The reclining was controlled by a touch panel. However, the window position in seat 3A is poor, so if you want to enjoy the view, it might be best to avoid it ☝️ For the in-flight meal, I chose Asian cuisine. The menu, which was renewed only for the Tokyo route, is typical of Japanese flights, and the main sukiyaki was full of meat! It was very filling and delicious 😋 For drinks, I chose a mocktail of pineapple sparkling and boba tea (tapioca milk tea), and for dessert after the meal, I had an illy cappuccino ☕️ I enjoyed my return journey in an unexpected way!
