Day and Night in Shanghai

It was a long layover but short for a vacation. Anyway, I decided to go for a quick walk around to experience a day and a night in Shanghai. I had to make the most of my time so I went straight to the heart of the City, Waitan or otherwise known as Bund. The Bund or Waitan is a raised promenade by the waterfront running parallel Huangpo River in area in central Shanghai. The area has some of Shanghai's best architectural treasures, which includes grand, western style buildings built in the late 19th and early 20th century. The buildings feature architectural styles from Neoclassical to Beaux-Arts to Gothic to Baroque forming the popular Shanghai Skyline which glows brighter and more colorful at night. #celebratewithtrip #meetshanghai
