Strolling along the Golden Sea Lake, immersing in poetic charm

Fengxian Golden Sea Lake Scenic Area, also known as "Shanghai Fish," is located in Nanqiao New Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai. It is a comprehensive park that blends natural landscapes with modern art, serving as the core scenic center of Nanqiao New Town and a landmark of Fengxian District. The lake was designed by international master designer Larry Silbert, the creator of Dubai's "Palm Island." The water system consists of three main lake areas shaped like a fish's body, tail, and fins, covering a total planned area of approximately 2.5 square kilometers. The lakeside is lush with greenery, surrounded by numerous parks such as Nianfeng Park, Youth Art Park, Bubble Park, and Sculpture Park. Along the shoreline, buildings like the Fengxian Museum, Fengxian Planning Exhibition Hall, "By the Water" Sci-Fi Pavilion, and Marriott Hotel reflect beautifully on the shimmering water. No matter the time, every casual snapshot turns into a stunning photo. Families and friends can enjoy leisurely walks along the lakeside paths, breathing in the fresh air and embracing the tranquility of nature—a truly delightful experience. Additionally, there is a sports and water sports park at the yacht culture base. We were lucky to witness a drone show celebrating the opening of the "By the Water" Sci-Fi Pavilion that evening.
