Tokyo's Inokashira Park is really beautiful!

#TokyoItinerary I recently went to Inokashira Park and was absolutely blown away by its beauty! When you walk into the park, the air feels as fresh as if it had been washed. Inokashira Park (井の头恩事公園) is a popular natural park in Tokyo, spanning Musashino City and Mitaka City. It is centered on a lake with weeping willows by the lake, sparkling water and the sun shining on it. Walking along the lake, you may occasionally see swans swimming leisurely, which is really pleasant. There are various flowers, plants and trees in the park, providing different scenery in each season. In autumn, the ground is covered with golden fallen leaves, like a golden carpet. Whether you want to take a walk in your spare time or just sit in a corner and relax, this place is perfect. Cherry Blossom Season: From late March to early April every year, about 400 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are in full bloom, and the pink petals are reflected on the lake. You can take a swan boat to enjoy the flowers up close (cost about 600 yen/hour). Picnic recommendations: Spread out a picnic mat under the cherry trees, but be sure to grab the popular spots early (there are fewer people on weekdays or early in the morning). Cultural and artistic experience Ghibli Museum: A museum themed around Hayao Miyazaki's works. Reservations must be made in advance (buy tickets on the official website or through a third-party platform). Inokashira Natural and Cultural Park: Contains a zoo (penguins, otters) and an aquarium (extra fee required), suitable for family trips. Nature and Wildness Forest Trail: The Gotenyama area is suitable for hiking and observing birds and plants. Benzaiten Shrine: The god of music and eloquence is enshrined here, and you can pray for fortune. Transportation and surrounding areas JR Kichijoji Station: Approximately 5 minutes on foot. Keio Inokashira Line "Inokashira Park Station": Directly outside the station. Nearby Recommendations Kichijoji Business District: There are coffee shops, vintage stores and restaurants outside the park. Musashino Coffee Shop (the filming location of "Sparks") is recommended. Stop by Koenji: On the return trip, you can go shopping in Koenji or visit the second-hand book market. Useful Tips Tips for cherry blossom viewing Avoid the weekend peak hours. There are fewer people in the mornings or evenings on weekdays, so you need to arrive early to reserve a spot during the cherry blossom season.
