Tokyo - Zenpukuji River Green Space: A Hidden Cherry Blossom Spot for Riverside Strolls

Zenpukuji River Green Space, located in the Ogikubo area of Tokyo, is a hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing. Along the approximately 4-kilometer riverside path, around 800 Yoshino cherry trees are planted. Starting from the upstream area and walking all the way to Wadabori Park, you can enjoy the sight of delicate pink blossoms on both sides of the river, with several small bridges offering picturesque views. Unlike the crowded Meguro River, Zenpukuji River Green Space is more spacious, and the cherry trees are spread out, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll and appreciate the blossoms in a tranquil setting. To get to Zenpukuji River Green Space, take the subway to Asagaya Station and walk for about 15 minutes. The endpoint, Wadabori Park, is near Eifukucho Station on the Keio Inokashira Line, from where you can take a train back to Shibuya.
