The Chinese New Year atmosphere and the fireworks over the riverside towns in the Jiangnan region are like this

There are only two weeks left until the New Year! Let's take a look at what fun preparations the town has made, and don't forget to save the date. Event Time: 2/3-2/25 Event Location: Xizha, Wuzhen ■ Water Market: A must-visit! New Year goods on boats, folk snacks, juggling performances, street vendors, and the worship of the God of the Year that only happens on New Year's Eve can all be found here. Half of the pictures in my notes were taken here. ■ Dragon Boat West Market River Cruise/Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity Old Street Parade: The annual must-see water and land parade along the West Market River and the old streets of Xizha. The boats in the pictures are the parade boats, and they are incredibly beautiful. ■ Zhao Ming Lantern Festival Gathering: Inside Zhao Ming Academy, last year's Mid-Autumn Gathering was truly stunning, and I am especially looking forward to this year's Spring Festival Gathering. ■ Long Street Banquet: Wuzhen's signature event, the copper pot hotpot, creates an absolutely full-on atmosphere on-site. ■ Night Lantern Festival: Large themed night lanterns are set up in the Dragon-shaped Flower Field, Water Market, Zhao Ming Academy, and Tea Art Street. ■ Personal Recommendation: I like to wander around, seeing the big 'Fu' characters pasted on wooden doors and windows, watching children in red cotton-padded jackets with zodiac hats running by, and hearing the blessings and the cries of the street vendors.
