The dawn of Ulm

🌅The Ulm city wall (Figure 4️⃣) was built before 1480, originally for defense, and is now a tourist attraction. Figure 6️⃣ shows the Meat Shop Tower, which was originally a bastion of the city wall. The name is said to come from the fact that Ulm's butchers sold inferior sausages to the citizens, who, in their anger, forced them into a corner of the tower, causing the tower to tilt. The tilt angle is only 0.6 degrees different from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. 🌅On one side of the city wall is the charming Fishermen's Quarter, and on the other side is the Danube River. Walking on the city wall in the early morning, watching the changing dawn sky, occasionally seeing red squirrels passing by, and couples already embracing by the river, it is very comfortable and beautiful. .
