Venezone: the city that remembers it's history!

#aprilblooms A great place to stop and have a look around after entering Italy by car. The whole city of Venzone was largely destroyed after a magnitude 6 eartquake in the 1976 and was rebuild and restored to how it was before the #earthquake. There are a few shops in here with local goods. The signature product produced here in the summer are it's lavender cosmetics. The #lavender fields around the city are a great and romantic photo spot, you won't forget the intense scent that will burn itself into your memory! The gigantic mountains around the city and the old city wall will make you feel like you have been transfered into a magical world. You can enter the church (you have to push the door), where you can see some new and old pieces of art. Don't forget to get ice cream from the local pastry shop directly in the center. It has a cute little terrace where you can enjoy your delights with the sound of water coming from a nearby fountain. You can see the whole center in just 20 minutes. Parking is free in the whole city and you can actually park inside the city.
