Taizhou Cultural Tourism! You're missing out if you don't promote this place!

Hidden within Wenling City, Taizhou, lies a 4A-level scenic spot, "crafted by human hands, yet appearing as nature's own creation"—Changyu Dongtian. Continuously quarried since the Northern and Southern Dynasties, it has formed 28 cave groups and over 1,300 caves, making it the largest artificially excavated stone cave complex in China. 💡Visiting Order: 1️⃣Guanxi Cave: The most magnificent cave group, comprising 348 caves. Features include the Nine-Bend Pearl Bridge, the Maitreya Buddha, boating (separate fee), the Dongtian Treasure Bowl, the Dripping Stone Coins, the Han Dynasty Camphor Tree, the Hanging Well, and the Guanyin Wall. Those with limited mobility can enjoy concerts in the 2,000-square-meter cave music hall. (Pictures 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, and 13. Our group of 7 adults and 2 children returned to the hotel after visiting Guanxi Cave, while my sister and I continued exploring.) 2️⃣Shuiyun Cave: A filming location for the TV series *The Return of the Condor Heroes*. The rock walls of the first cave hall have been permeated with water and color over the years, forming natural murals resembling plum blossoms and willow branches over 100 meters high (Pictures 2, 4, 5, 10, and 11). 3️⃣Shuangmen Cave: Connected to Shuiyun Cave and accessible on foot. The caves within mainly feature quarrying and Taoist culture (Picture 1). 💡A Suggestion: If you have limited time/energy but still want to visit, you can purchase individual tickets at the ticket booths at each cave entrance instead of buying a combined ticket. Personally, I don't think it's very suitable for very young children or seniors, as most caves have steps. 🎫Entrance Ticket: CNY 10 🎫Cave Tickets: Varying prices, approximately CNY 35–45 🎫Combined Ticket: CNY 120, includes Shuangmen Cave + Guanxi Cave + Shuiyun Cave + Panda House + Shuangmen Grottoes 🎫Shuttle Bus Ticket: CNY 20/person, recommended for convenient transportation between cave entrances. 🅿️Parking: Parking lot available, but during peak season, you may need to park along the village roads outside the scenic area. When in Wenling, Changyu Dongtian is definitely worth a visit!
