Wimbledon Common is a big open area located in South West London, it’s territory extending over 460 hectares. Many people mistakenly think that Wimbledon Common has something to do with Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. It’s not like that! In the middle of this park you can’t hear the noise of the cars, but you can hear planes about to land at Heathrow. You can do a lot at Wimbledon Common: walking, running, cycling, horse riding and golfing. It features multiple ponds and lakes, a windmill, a nature reserve and a diverse range of flora and fauna.
