Yellow Crane Tower Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Wuhan. Surprising city
Wuhan surprised me! It's a bustling city with a rich history. I wandered the Yellow Crane Tower, its views incredible. Walking along the riverside at Hankou was peaceful, with locals enjoying the cool breeze. The street food scene was amazing - I devoured spicy noodles and fluffy scallion pancakes. Despite everything I'd heard, the city felt energetic and full of life. Definitely a place to experience China's modern and traditional sides

Wuhan Cherry Blossom Viewing Guide
The best place to witness the beauty of Wuhan's cherry blossoms is none other than the East Lake Cherry Garden.
The East Lake Cherry Garden is located within the East Lake Scenic Area in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, covering an area of about 150 acres. It is one of the largest cherry blossom viewing bases in Wuhan. From late March to early April each year, the cherry blossoms here bloom vigorously, attracting tens of thousands of tourists to come and enjoy.
Walking into the cherry garden is like entering a pink fairy tale world. The trees are full of blossoms, and the delicate petals sway gently in the breeze, emitting a faint fragrance that intoxicates the senses. Strolling along the path, one can see cherry blossoms of different varieties competing for beauty on the branches, with pink, white, and red colors, dazzling and overwhelmingly beautiful.
In addition to the splendid cherry trees, there is also the majestic Yellow Crane Tower. Standing in front of the Yellow Crane Tower, I seem to hear the chanting of the ancients and feel the weight of history. Every brick and tile on the tower tells a story, immersing one involuntarily in its cultural essence.
I flew to Wuhan specifically for this photo!!
【📷 A trip to Wuhan, the story of 18 photos】
My purpose of flying to Wuhan was just for those 18 photos. The beautiful scenery of this city is so attractive that I embarked on a special forces-like journey, shuttling through the streets and alleys of Wuhan, and finally got the 18 photos I liked. When I posted them on my circle of friends, local friends were amazed and said they had never seen such beautiful scenery.
Now, I share my journey with you, so that you can also glimpse the style of Wuhan.
✅Day one:

👉Yellow Crane Tower and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge and Tortoise Mountain TV Tower in the same frame
👉Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame
👉Yellow Crane Tower and Wuhan Corporate World in the same frame

👉No. 37 Desheng Bridge
✅Day two:
👉Lonely tree
👉Vine tree leads flowers
👉Photographing trains from the Changjiang Bridge sentry box
👉Butterfly Spring
👉Yangsigang Bridge
👉Meixunlimen Night Market
✅Day three:
👉Key Building Jianer Ground Subway Station
👉Yingwuzhou Bridge

👉Dragon King Temple
Among these photos, one is the Yingwuzhou Bridge in the misty rain, which I shot from an unfinished building. Another one is Guiyuan Temple and Yingwuzhou Bridge in the same frame, the camera position is near Hanyang Railway Station. Another one is the train and Yellow Crane Tower in the same frame, the position is at the sentry box of the Changjiang Bridge. I came out of the west gate of the Yellow Crane Tower and walked about 300 meters along the road, and I could see the wire fence.
Another one is the Yellow Crane Tower and the Greenland Center in the same frame, the camera position is near the Fuxing Road subway station. Another one is shot in the air above the Yangsigang Bridge, the scenery is magnificent. Another one is shot under the bridge, which has a different flavor.
I also took pictures of the vine tree leading flowers, the lonely tree, the white space, the Butterfly Spring and other beautiful sceneries. Each photo records my footprints and feelings in Wuhan.

the best place for sakura 🌸 hunting: WU
Widely regarded as the most beautiful university campus in China, Wuhan celebrating its 130th anniversary (1893-2023) this year opens up to visitors for the first time since pandemic controls and shutdowns. 🌸 so this year is extremely hard to get in the booking reservation system, but it's all worth it.
Its indeed one of the best places in China to enjoy the canopy of white and pink blossoms.. due to its location where the first planted cherry blossoms seeds from Japan. The more than 2,000 cherry trees are currently in full bloom on the university campus. Follow the crowds heading to the old. dormitory buildings in classical Chinese style where the romance fills the air from the arrays of sakura trees leading up the historic university library.. it's truly a sight to behold..
If the crowd is a little too much, why not take a rest and feast the eyes by sitting at the large field overlooking the magnificient university's administration building housing the president's office. It's also one of the must see spot within the university ground.
Last but not least, it's all depends on luck and days you choose to visit, again because it needs booking reservation to enter the university. Hope the blooming of cherry blossoms a.k.a the sakura 🌸continue bring you luck and this year's affinity for a better future..

Gude Temple Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jun)
Traveling to Wuhan with my girlfriend
Traveling in Wuhan in October
Picture one: The photos taken at the Gude Temple in Wuhan are very impressive, it's a great place for check-in and photography
Picture two: At the place where we stayed, there is a crab street next to it. The crabs are very cheap, but if your home is far away, don't mail them (the postage is expensive). They can steam them on the spot and give you dipping sauce, which is really fresh.
Picture three: We went under the Wuhan Bridge, where you can take a walk, but there are really a lot of mosquitoes in October. I was bitten a lot.
Picture four: My girlfriend
Picture five: There are many commercial complexes in Wuhan and they are indeed quite large. It is recommended to check in advance which complex to go to, otherwise you will have to run around.
Picture six: I remember these two restaurants seem to be quite famous (forgot ), but maybe it's my personal reason, after eating spicy crabs, I got acute gastroenteritis (which led to a hospital visit, due to time constraints, many places didn't go to wash regret, can only go again next time), lotus root soup is still very delicious!

The temple was founded by Longxi in the third year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the QingDynasty. The temple covers an area of nearly 30000 square meters and the construction area is nearly 8000 square meters. The temple combines the characteristics of Eurasian religious architecture and
integrates the three major Buddhist schools of Mahayana Hinayana and Tibetan Tantric. It is known as"one of the wonders of a Buddhist resort and the first wonder of a Buddhist temple in the Han Dynasty.
The architectural style of Gude Temple is pretty unique . Most tourists go there to pray and pay their respects . Experiencing the Buddhist religion as well as seeing monks go about their daily life was worth it . I got to see a different aspect of religion
No need to buy tickets to enter and you can stay about half an hour to tour around .
