Xingqing Palace: A great free autumn check-in spot.

A relaxing trip to Xi'an, mainly to enjoy the sunshine and blue sky of Xi'an from the gloomy Chongqing. This is my fourth time in Xi'an, and I don't have any particular goals. I chose Xingqing Palace because I wanted to visit my brother's alma mater, Xi'an Jiaotong University. However, the campus, which was open to the public in 2019, now requires a reservation, and I couldn't get one. So I went to find Li Bai - Li Bai wrote the Qingping Tune at Xingqing Palace's Chenxiang Pavilion, a song that has been sung for thousands of years. From the Orange Hotel Select (Xi'an Ming City Wall Yongxingfang), it is a ten-minute walk to Xingqing Palace Park. 🌟 Highlights: A free park that has become a place for Xi'an residents (mainly the elderly) to exercise and relax. There are elderly people singing and playing music at Caiyun Pavilion and Chenxiang Pavilion. The elderly in Xi'an are very enthusiastic. There was an elderly man writing calligraphy on the ground, and he handed me the "pen" and invited me to write, and explained the meaning of "home" to me... 👍 Recommendations: Autumn photography, the weeping willows by the Longchi Lake, the white ducks and withered lotus by the pond, the golden leaves and the branches under the blue sky, all make for great photos. 🍽 Food recommendations: On the way back to the hotel from Xingqing Palace, I went to Chengcheng Shuipen Mutton (Suoluo Lane) for a bowl of mutton paomo, a very authentic Xi'an flavor.
