"A Thousand-year-old Chang'an Tour. A Ten-day In-depth Tour Experience in Xi'an"
#Xi'an 🗓️Itinerary:
This ten-day trip to Xi'an is a cultural tour spanning a thousand years, and it is also the "Tang Dynasty Tour" that I have long dreamed of. In this ancient capital of 13 dynasties, we shuttle between history and modernity every day, feeling the weight of time and the vitality of the city.
We live near the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, with convenient transportation and excellent living functions. Next to it is the bustling Muslim Street. Feel the atmosphere of the ancient city during the day and go to the night market to eat snacks at night. From mutton soup buns to soup dumplings, from mirror cakes to Bingfeng soda, every bite is the authentic taste of Xi'an.
Taking the Xi'an subway, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The first shocking point is the spectacular Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang. The lifelike pottery figurines are neatly lined up, showing the empire's military power and belief in immortality, which makes people feel awe. This is not just a historical relic, but a vitality that transcends time and space.
At Huaqing Pool, we walked through the hot spring palace where Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei once stayed, and felt the romance and sorrow of the prosperous Tang Dynasty court. At night, we watched the live performance of "Song of Everlasting Sorrow", which was breathtakingly beautiful. The water curtain, music and dance intertwined a love legend in Tang poetry.
The Xi'an City Wall is one of my most unforgettable experiences. We rented bicycles and rode slowly along the ancient city wall. Looking at the ancient city from afar, overlooking the streets, the voices of people and traffic intertwined with the breeze on the city wall, and at that moment it seemed to be integrated with the entire ancient capital. This city wall is not only a defensive facility, but also a witness of time, witnessing the rise and fall.
We also went to the magnificent Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River, standing in front of the roaring waterfall, and felt the intersection of nature and history. It is a true portrayal of "the water of the Yellow River comes from the sky", which makes people respect the world and life.
Then challenge Huashan, climbing step by step along the steep mountain road, sweating profusely but extremely satisfied. Standing on the top of the mountain overlooking the mountains and the sea of clouds, the magnificence and transcendence can only be experienced in person.
In front of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, we took a photo with the statue of Xuanzang. The resolute figure of the monk who sought Buddhist scriptures symbolizes the journey of faith and culture. The night of the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps is the most romantic modern fantasy of the prosperous Tang Dynasty in Xi'an. The light show, interactive performances, and Tang-style aesthetics are like walking into the streets of Chang'an a thousand years ago, and there are surprises between light and shadow.
The performance of "Legend of Camel Bells" takes us back to the era of the Silk Road, feeling the camel bells of caravans, the exchange of civilizations, and the vast feelings of thousands of miles of travel. This is not just a performance, but also a spiritual journey.

🏮 Summary of experience
In these ten days, we walked into the underground army of the Terracotta Warriors, climbed to the top of Mount Hua, circled the city wall, witnessed the magnificence of the Hukou Waterfall, listened to the Song of Everlasting Regret in Huaqing Pool, and dreamed of the Tang Dynasty in the City that Never Sleeps...
Xi'an is not just an ancient capital, it is a city with warmth and soul. Every brick, every tile, every dish, every performance, is the accumulation of Chinese culture for thousands of years.
Although the ten days are short, this feeling will remain deeply in my heart. If you want to have a trip that truly dialogues with history in your life, then Xi'an is definitely worth it.
