Xifeng Concentration Camp

When it comes to red tourism in Guizhou, everyone knows Zunyi. But on the way to Zunyi, there is another important place - Xifeng Concentration Camp. Xifeng Concentration Camp was a secret prison set up by the Military Commission of the National Government during the War of Resistance Against Japan to imprison communists, anti-Japanese fighters, progressives, and patriots. From November 1938 to July 1946, more than 1,200 people, including members of the Communist Party of China and patriots, were imprisoned, and more than 600 people were killed and tortured to death. More than 400 people were missing, and less than 100 survived. Famous revolutionary martyrs Luo Shiwen, Che Yaoxian, Xu Xiaoxuan, Zhang Luping, and patriots Ma Yinchu and Yang Hucheng, as well as Han Zidong and Little Radish Head, who are well known to everyone, were all imprisoned here. The site is divided into two parts: an indoor memorial hall and an outdoor concentration camp cell. When you come here, you will truly feel that today's happy life is hard-won, and we should cherish it.
