Nara Hydrangea Spot Yatadera Temple

Yata-dera Temple is the largest hydrangea temple in Kansai, with about 10,000 hydrangeas of 60 different varieties. I've never seen so many hydrangeas 😳😳 This is the temple where Prince Oama visited to pray for the Jinshin Rebellion. It has the oldest Enmei Jizo Bodhisattva in Japan. There is also a wooden statue of King Enma! It also has a mini version of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, and is quite deep.
