Guilin Yangshuo is really not recommended for holiday travel

You can't even walk around the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas in Guilin, a 20min drive in Yangshuo took nearly two hours, West Street is so packed you can't move, and it's very inconvenient with luggage, very commercialized If you want to see the landscape, there's no need to go during the May Day holiday, three days and two nights are really more than enough, the landscape of Guilin is really nice, sunny and rainy days each have their own beauty, all are good-looking 🚅Transport Changsha→Guilin North→Yangshuo: High-speed train 184+22/person Yangshuo→Xingping Ancient Town: Bus 20/person (I think) ⛰️Itinerary ✨Day1 Guilin Arrived in the afternoon, the city is not big, taxis are cheap and convenient 1️⃣East-West Alley + Xiaoyao Tower Free, and Jingjiang Prince's Mansion (charged, not necessary to visit if you're not particularly interested in history) 2️⃣Zhenyang Street Lots of food, opposite East-West Alley, more commercialized, with various places to rent clothes for photos 3️⃣Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas Navigate to Riyuewan Pier, the lighting time is 18:00-23:00 every day, the best view is along the coast of Shanhu Lake and the east side of the lake, there is a fee to climb the tower ✨Day2 Guilin--Yangshuo 1️⃣Elephant Trunk Hill Free, the hill is not high, you can overlook the landscape from the top, the view is quite open, it takes only an hour or two to visit 2️⃣Wandering around the city Guilin is not big, the Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas are really not too crowded during the day, quite quiet, very comfortable, not too hot even during the May Day holiday 3️⃣Xingping Ancient Town Take a bus directly from Yangshuo high-speed train station to Xingping Ancient Town, there's not much to see in the town, it's really crowded, at night when you look up, you think it's the sky, but it's actually the mountains of Guilin, really huge! 4️⃣West Street There's a bus from the ancient town, pay attention to the last bus time, it's as crowded as the New Year's Eve in the center of Changsha, plus a 24-inch suitcase, it's really uncomfortable, heavily commercialized, not worth going ✨Day3 Yangshuo 1️⃣Xianggong Hill If the weather is good, you must go to Xianggong Hill to see the sunrise, this is the place I think is most worth visiting in Yangshuo 2️⃣20 Yuan Renminbi Background Check-in Point Walk upstream along the Li River, if you just want to check in and take photos, spend 20 to take a shot, no need to go to Yulong River and spend three to five hundred to take photos, unless you want to sit on a bamboo raft (about 160), it seems you can take a bamboo raft from Guilin to Yangshuo 3️⃣Nine Horses Painting Hill Walk about 5 kilometers upstream along the Li River to get there, you can rent an electric scooter if you don't want to walk 4️⃣Guilin Landscape Jia Tianxia Monument Take a boat from Mashan Pier (15/person round trip) to cross the river, then walk 2 kilometers (or take a sightseeing car for 10/person) to get there, you can skip it if you're short on time 5️⃣Laozhai Hill I heard the sunset is very beautiful We took a bus from West Street to Xingping Ancient Town for 15/person, and rented a small electric scooter for about 30/day Route: West Street→Gongnong Bridge→Ten-Mile Gallery→Jimah Wharf→Internet-famous Wheat Field→Yulong Bridge 🏨Accommodation 1️⃣Guilin: Shengshi Time Hotel, 422/night Just across the street from Guilin North High-speed Train Station, the room is very big and clean, recommended 2️⃣Yangshuo: Xiangtiya Hotel, 564/night Located in West Street, definitely not worth the price, the room is small, and the bedding is damp, not recommended We booked around 4.29, the price was extremely inflated
