Yeongwol Traditional Hanok Train Station and Seobu Market in Gangwon-do, great for train travel

I took a train to Yeongwol, Gangwon-do, which is 2 hours away from Seoul, so you can make a day trip or a short 2-day, 1-night trip. The Yeongwol train station is built as a traditional Korean hanok, so it is really beautiful. The unique charm and colors of the hanok matched the blue sky so well. I walked across Yeongwol Bridge from Yeongwol Station. Bongnae Mountain with its colorful autumn leaves was beautiful, and you could also see the Byeolmaru Observatory, a tourist attraction. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the train station to Seobu Market. It is the background of the movie Radio Star and a representative traditional market. Recommended foods are buckwheat pancakes and fried chicken. The buckwheat pancakes are especially delicious and filling, so I hope you try them! If you are looking for a market that sells food such as clothing or food ingredients, I recommend coming to Seobu Market.
