Medieval Castle

The well-preserved popular architecture and a range of interesting artistic and architectural features make this place a model of a typical village in southern Badajoz. Its old town has been designated as a cultural site. The Templar's medieval castle (mid-13th century) is one of the must-see attractions in Frejenal. Its floor plan is trapezoidal and very large, with walls reinforced by seven towers. You can enter through the Gothic doorway inside the castle.
