Zermatt with a view of the Matterhorn!

Exploring Zermatt with the stunning Matterhorn in sight!! 🇨🇭 🚃 To get to Zermatt, I used the Swiss Travel Pass. With the Travel Pass, you can enjoy unlimited rides on public transportation like buses and trains for a fixed price! (Scenic trains are available at half price or with discounts.) It also saves time as you don't need to buy tickets separately. 🏔️ For hiking with a view of the Matterhorn, I used the Gornergrat Railway. I purchased a round-trip ticket from Gornergrat Station to Rotenboden Station. With the Swiss Travel Pass, you can ride this railway at half price. I got the round-trip ticket for 50 CHF. 🚶 I hiked from Gornergrat Station to Riffelberg Station. This route is downhill, making it beginner-friendly for hikers. You can also see the breathtaking reflection of the Matterhorn in Riffelsee Lake! From Riffelberg Station, I took the train back down to Zermatt. 💡 You can follow the hiking course using Google Maps!
