Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park, a free natural history museum

🌞On a warm spring day, my family and I came to the Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park. It is a large public park that is completely open to the public, covering an area of 2 square kilometers. It still retains some of the national pavilions from the time of the Shanghai World Expo, making it a free natural history museum. 🌸The park has a variety of plants and trees, and even in winter, many flowers bloom, such as white magnolias, plum blossoms, and violets, offering a different visual experience each season. The park also features a garden called Shen Garden, built in the style of Suzhou classical gardens. It is small and exquisite, perfectly capturing the essence of Suzhou gardens, where every step reveals a new scene and people wander amidst the landscapes. 🚇The transportation is very convenient, with the park being easily accessible from the Expo Avenue Station on Metro Line 13. There is no admission fee for the park, but Shen Garden requires a separate ticket, which costs 20 yuan during the off-season and 30 yuan during the peak season, with half-price tickets available at a discount. 🦢The park's waterscape is also beautiful, with many swans in the lakes, each with their own names, such as Xiao Bai, Xiao Hei, Xiao Hui, etc. We brought bread to feed them, and they were very tame, following us around. There is also a cute sculpture of a big white rabbit on the lake, which is a popular spot for photos. 🌆The park's viewing platform is also worth a visit, offering a view of the distant cityscape and the under-construction Shuangzi Mountain, which is said to become a new landmark of Shanghai in the future. I'm looking forward to its completion. 🌙The park is even more beautiful at night, with the former Luxembourg Pavilion, the former Russian Pavilion, the former Italian Pavilion, and the former French Pavilion all lit up, creating a stunning nightscape, perfect for romantic dates. 😊In summary, the Shanghai World Expo Cultural Park is a place well worth visiting.
