A Glimpse of Mt. Apo at Camp Sabros
Another famous place that has been the destination of every wanderer. Situated at Brgy. Baras, Brgy Kapatagan , Davao del Sur. There are so many things to explore and enjoy at Camp Sabros; like their vintage themed restos and coffee shop, zipline, cable cart ride, and horseback riding. But what captured me the most was the view of mighty Mt Apo and the widespread of the greenfield at its foot. I am so captivated by the view which the pictures that I chose to pose in here. I loved the very beautiful scenery that i can indulge in on their big balcony. It gives me like a Switzerland Vibe.

🌺 Find Your Calm at St. Benedict’s Monastery, Digos 🌿🕊️
Nestled among lush hills, St. Benedict’s Monastery in Digos is the perfect spot for nature lovers and those seeking peace—think serenity, bird song, and wide open spaces.
Whether you crave a moment of mindfulness or an easy scenic stroll, start your visit by exploring the landscaped gardens and tranquil pathways around the monastery. The main church’s architecture, with its simple grace, makes a great photo backdrop—try capturing it in soft morning light for those peaceful, insta-worthy shots! The outdoor benches and shaded groves are lovely spots to meditate or simply soak up the quiet.
Must-do: Attend the mid-morning prayer session if you’re there on a weekday; it’s open to visitors and gives insight into the contemplative life. Don’t miss wandering to the hilltop behind the monastery—the panoramic views of Digos city and the farmlands below are breathtaking.
Visiting tips: The grounds open early, around 7:30 AM, perfect for catching the sunrise. Dress modestly (shoulders and knees covered), as the site is a working monastery. Bring water and snacks; while the setting feels remote and peaceful, facilities are minimal. If you prefer easy travel, opt for a tricycle ride from downtown Digos—the route is straightforward and there’s little traffic.
Precautions: Parts of the grounds may get muddy after rain, so wear sturdy shoes. Be mindful of local customs—keep noise low and avoid disruptive photography during services.

Misty Mountain Magic🌄
🌸 Misty Mountain Magic at the Philippines' Dreamy Viewpoints 🌄✨
Immerse yourself in a paradise where flowers bloom endlessly and misty mountain vistas steal the show! Start your adventure bright and early for the freshest air and best light as the clouds roll over lush, green hills – a panorama you'll never forget.
Begin at the main mountain viewpoint (open daily from sunrise to sunset), where the mix of modern architecture and natural beauty creates whimsical photo ops. Make your way up scenic paths lined with colorful blooms, hand-picked for all flower lovers and garden wanderers. Don’t miss snapping a shot of yourself or your travel buddy at the panoramic spot shrouded in dreamy mist – crisp mornings tend to have the best cloud cover for that ethereal vibe.
Must-do: Take a slow walk through the garden trails, sample local snacks from stalls near the entrance, and pause at the highest lookout for an awe-inspiring peek over the rolling countryside. Try engaging with local guides for secret selfie angles and flower facts!
Top photo spot: Head to the steel viewing deck—a woman was seen capturing the misty magic with the mountains and clouds as her backdrop. The fog adds a mystical, soft-focus touch. For truly “insta-worthy” shots, visit just after sunrise or as the late afternoon sun begins to glow.
Quick tips: Wear layers—the weather can flip from sunny to chilly in minutes! Sturdy shoes recommended for slippery paths if it’s foggy. To avoid crowds, aim for weekdays, and bring a dry bag to protect your camera from sudden mist or drizzle.

On top of the 'world' at Apo Flower Garden
the highest mountain resort in Kapatagan, Digos City and is located at the foot of Mt.Apo is the Apo Flower Garden.
because of its height, you get an uninterrupted view of all mountains sorrounding Davao Gulf, Mt Matutum,Mt Dinar, and the king of all Philippine mountains, Mount Apo.
You are also treated with the serene waters of Davao gulf and at night you can view the city lights of Davao and Digos competing with the starry skies of Apo.
we stayed at a container van type accomodation with bunk beds that can house the four of us plus a toddler. Our room comes with a gazebo where we can lounge around while we enjoy the cool mountain breeze. the food there is delicious too and they offer a wide selection of filipino, chinese and Korean dishes. Because we went there on a weekday, we got the resort all to ourselves! we just paid php 2500 for the room and our total bill was under 5000 including breakfast, lunch, dinner and some snacks!
this flower garden may be accessed via Kapatagn, Digos and it is a few blocks away from Jardin de Señorita.
quick getaway from the city
just An hour and a half drive from Davao City and you will get to this gem in Digos City. Camp Sabros is perfect for a family getaway. i went there together with my mom who is in her 60s and my nephew and they liked it there! we took pictures at their welcome arc and enjoyed the cool mountain breeze.
we went there on a weekday so there is not much of a crowd.
The camp features a restaurant and a coffee shop to where you can just lounge around while watching the kids ride on one of Philippines' longest zipline and ride on horses.
They also have rooms which you can rent for the night. We got ours at only php 2500 good for the five of us inclusive of the entrance!
if you want to visit just for the day it is at Php 130 each!#tripblazers
