TANJUNG KARANG BEACH
Tanjung Karang Beach is a tourist attraction located in the village of Labuan Bajo, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. It is 37 KM from Palu City, the capital city of Central Sulawesi Province. Tanjung Karang is a white sandy beach with a rich biodiversity of underwater biota[1]. The golden light reflects off the sandy beach, which is crossed by many fishing boats. Small ripples of waves crash with foam that brushes the soft sand surface of Tanjung Karang Beach, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. The beach, which is located about 35 km from the center of Palu City, became the center of the Tourism Awareness movement launched by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. The beach with calm waves has indeed become one of the main tourist destinations in Central Sulawesi. The tourism potential on this beach began to be developed with several houses on stilts that functioned as lodging. The house measuring approximately 5 x 5 meters is only about 10 meters from the beach. There is also a resort that is usually visited by foreign tourists. The lack of tourism promotion makes the potential for underwater beauty around the Tanjung Karang beach more widely known abroad. The local government has not been serious in working on tourism in this area. The arrangement of the beach looks not optimal according to the existing layout. Tourists who do not yet have the ability to dive can enjoy the underwater paradise with coral reefs in it through a glass-bottomed boat. Accommodation to this location is very easy with many airlines that fly to Palu City. Then travel overland for about 45 minutes to Tanjung Karang Beach.
