Afterwards, I briefly visited the Sheikh Mohammed Palace (Zabiel Palace), but the interior was closed. The Mercedes Benz with a single-digit "7" license plate in front of the palace caught my eye. Madinat Jumeirah is a tourist market in the center of Dubai with a really picturesque view, perfect for taking Aladdin-vibe pictures. Parking: 20 aed /h unless you spend 100aed on shopping / restaurants. Places: a number of restaurants with terraces. plenty of souvenirs shops a bar/night club with Latino parties and discos some food corners with smoothies etc. You can also take an arba boat for a ride along the canals inside the Madinat. The biggest part of the promenade is closed and not available for outside visitors as it belongs to the hotel (these 3-4 story buildings overlooking the seaside and Burj Al Arab are hotel buildings in fact). #travel #dubai #madinatjumeirah

On a day when the warm morning sun bathed Dubai, I arrived at Souk Madinat Jumeirah after a short 5-minute drive from the Mall of the Emirates. As soon as it came into view, I was greeted by an exotic scene that felt like stepping into a medieval Arabian city. Sand-colored traditional buildings, palm trees, arched corridors, and a small boat gently gliding along a canal in between. For a moment, I couldn't tell if this place was a market, a resort, or a movie set. Entering the market, I found shops lined up under a calm, dark wooden ceiling, selling all kinds of spices and souvenirs. The air was filled with the scent of saffron and roses, mingling with the sight of old metal lamps and hand-painted ceramics. It was the epitome of 'Middle Eastern charm.'

The Dubai Mall Fountain Show, one of the world's top three fountain shows! In the luxurious city of Dubai, the scale of the fountain show is truly extraordinary. The fountain reaches a staggering height equivalent to a 45-story building! 😳 Watching such a high-reaching fountain show from the ground floor can be crowded and hard to take in all at once 😅. So, I decided to enjoy it comfortably from a restaurant on the 4th floor of the Dubai Mall. The restaurant "Tribe" in Dubai Mall is an African-themed eatery. For Dubai standards, the food prices are quite reasonable, and there’s no extra charge for terrace seating, making it a stress-free option. You don’t necessarily have to order food; you can simply order drinks and enjoy the view! We ordered mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) and burgers, and they were delicious 👍. Terrace seating requires a wait, and whether you get a spot by the terrace window or inside is random 🥹. A pro tip: if you go after 9 PM, there’s no waiting 😁. 📍Tribe, Dubai Mall

Enjoying afternoon tea 🫖 with stunning views of Dubai. This is our second visit to this place! It's the Highest View restaurant located on the 73rd floor of Gevora Hotel. Both times we visited, we ordered the afternoon tea set. Reservations for the afternoon tea set are recommended, and you can easily book through Gevora Hotel's WhatsApp😁. The time slot is fixed at 5:30 PM, and the price is 168 AED for two people, including tea :) Considering Dubai's high prices, this is an amazing value👍. Since it's outdoors and on a high floor, it can get quite windy and chilly, so make sure to bring a jacket! If you ask, they can also provide blankets🤭. 📍Gevora Hotel Dubai

This is a restaurant in Dubai that I’ve visited three times! 😁 First of all, the photo zone outside is brimming with Arabian vibes! Each time, I only had to wait less than 10 minutes to get in. If you're dining alone or with just one other person, you might get seated even faster! During my previous visit, I made the rookie mistake of ordering two brunch sets 🤣. But the naan (bread) here is unlimited, so ordering just one brunch set is more than enough for two people to eat to their heart's content! Last time, when we ordered two sets, the staff even asked us if we were serious... Previously, we ordered one Egyptian and one Arabic set, but this time we went for just the Arabic set. It comes with side dishes to pair with the naan and eggs. The cheese served is camel cheese, which can be quite polarizing, so be cautious⛔️. Other than that, everything suited my taste well, especially the red rose jam—it’s amazing! We refilled the naan about twice and finished off with dessert 😁. My take on this property is: If the Bulgari Resort Dubai were a brand-new hotel opening in 2025, this is basically what it would look like! First, its scale is massive—at least twice the size of Bulgari—so while its lobby and public areas are exquisitely designed, they also feature much higher ceilings and more spacious activity zones! The rooms also emphasize refinement. Despite not being overly large, they lack nothing in amenities and come with a fantastic terrace! However, the coastal humidity in Dubai is intense. Leaving the door open for a while will fog up the room, with mirrors steaming over. Spending extended time outdoors leaves you feeling sticky, so returning to the hotel for a bath or shower is incredibly refreshing! The bathrobes (in orange) are the same style as those at Burj Al Arab—thick and elegantly draping. The hotel has three pools: a rooftop infinity pool and a main pool, both free to use. The pool with the best view (shown in P5) is exclusively complimentary for suite/executive guests, while regular room guests need to pay—though it's rarely crowded and offers stunning views! Breakfast is served across four restaurants, which later separate into independent venues offering French, Chinese, Indian, and Arabic cuisines post-breakfast hours! I've rarely encountered such a lavish breakfast spread, but with few Chinese guests currently, there's limited Chinese fare—just some decent shrimp dumplings, with no noodles or similar options. Instead, they serve Japanese dishes like grilled meat and sushi! I personally devoured a dozen oysters and sampled every seafood item as if it were a buffet. If still hungry, I headed to a section featuring breads from a certain Hermès-named bakery. The overall dining experience was excellent, with gorgeous views facing the Burj Al Arab!
