A lovely section of the canal with some beautiful trees cover as well as the 80m long brick tunnel You can park in the car park over the tunnel and take a stroll along the canal into the town and by the lake too which has lots of ducks, geese and swans to look at! There are quite a few camp site or glamping sites nearby so it's quite accessible and of course of lovely spot to stop on a canal boat holiday!

As part of the celebrations of my parents wedding anniversary we took a lovely stroll along the Shropshire union canal. As it was spring time it was a wonderful to see all the wildlife especially the cute ducklings.
