Pleasant Stay at Fergus Hotel
Stayed for 5 days at Fergus Hotel. Received a very warm welcome from Tony upon arrival. The hotel was clean and enjoyable, with a varied cuisine. The staff were friendly and spoke French. Entertainment was provided by the amazing Gabriel – especially loved his dart games, though they might need a new target board soon! 😂 Overall, a great stay! – Marie and JC

Less than 10 kilometers east of Elora Town, there is a Scottish-style town named Fergus (Fergus). The town's sign clearly features the style of a Scottish kilted man.
The original Scottish pioneers made full use of the geographical advantages of the Grand River, building timber processing mills, grain mills, churches, and schools along the river. This place gradually became a town where Scottish descendants gathered, thus preserving many Scottish traditions.
Every summer from June to September, Fergus holds Scottish cultural festivals and Scottish Highland Games, and the town is flooded with a large number of visitors, making it extraordinarily lively.
