#newyearnewtrip I indulged in a rejuvenating experience at Peninsula Hot Springs, Mornington Peninsula. As I soaked in the warm, mineral-rich waters, my worries melted away. The serene surroundings, complete with lush gardens and tranquil water features, created a sense of calm and relaxation. The various bathing pools and private baths offered a range of temperatures and settings to suit every mood. A perfect haven to unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with nature and oneself. A truly unforgettable experience that left me feeling refreshed and revitalized.

I never thought I'd be able to enjoy a hot spring in Melbourne. The facility was so large that I thought it was a theme park! I entered with a night ticket from 6pm, so I couldn't visit everything, but I was able to visit about 15-20 hot springs, pools, saunas, cafes, etc. Of course, unlike in Japan, you have to wear a swimsuit and it's mostly mixed-gender bathing. The temperature of each hot spring was indicated, so it was like enjoying the temperature difference and the scenery. I walked quite a bit inside, but personally I liked the fire and ice area. By the way, there are birds inside, and it feels like you're taking a hot spring in a botanical garden. It's worth visiting at least once if you come to Melbourne. 😊 Lockers are an additional charge at reception, AUD8.

We had a wonderful relaxing time twice at Alba hot springs in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. It is about 1 hour’s drive from Melbourne. We arrived for an afternoon session on a weekday and it was fairly quiet and we had some hot pools to ourselves all afternoon. For our second visit, we opted for a night owl session and arrived about 5.15pm and the crowd was just nice till about 7pm when more visitors turned up for the lovely sunset. Nestled among waving grasses and indigenous flora, there are more than thirty pools to discover and enjoy. From the warm mineral waters of geothermal pools to the invigorating rain pool and the tranquillity of botanical pools, you can immerse yourself in a unique healthy relaxing bathing experience. This is a luxurious 5 star new establishment, with a lovely restaurant and good food and they even supply Dyson hair dryers in their bathroom! Highly recommended when you visit Melbourne, Australia for an unforgettable calming experience. The springs are open from 7.00am until 10.00pm and they accept last arrival at 8.30pm.
