This distinctive alpine meadow landscape, bathed in sunlight and clouds, transforms with shifting light and shadows, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. Upon entering Jiuhuandi, the first thing that catches your eye is the vast, endless green meadow, stretching like a soft emerald carpet into the distance. Scattered across the meadow are colorful wildflowers, blooming freely and adding a lively charm to the greenery. Herds of cattle and sheep graze and stroll leisurely, their occasional moos and bleats breaking the mountain silence and painting a picturesque scene of "grass bending low under the wind, revealing cattle and sheep." Standing on the viewing platform, your gaze stretches far and wide. To the east, the highest peak in Ganluo County, Laoyingzui (Eagle’s Beak) of Ma’an Mountain, rests quietly as if guarding the land. To the northeast, the distinct shapes of Wawu Mountain and Maoke Mountain stand tall and majestic against the blue sky and white clouds. To the northwest, the magnificent silhouette of Gongga Snow Mountain, the "King of Sichuan Peaks," comes into view, its snow-capped summit glowing with a sacred radiance under the sun, inspiring awe. Beyond its daytime beauty, Jiuhuandi is equally enchanting at night. As darkness falls, the starry sky unfolds like a gem-studded dome, enveloping the land. Far from city light pollution, you can clearly see the Milky Way’s outline and feel the vastness and mystery of the universe. Lying on the soft grass, gazing at the stars, you might feel as though you’ve merged into the infinite cosmos, leaving all worries behind. In recent years, with the implementation of rural revitalization, Jiuhuandi Village has leveraged its natural resources to develop tourism. Once a quiet mountain village, it has gradually come alive with visitors, bringing new vitality. The village has built hiking trails, viewing platforms, and other infrastructure, along with homestays and farmhouses where travelers can savor authentic Yi cuisine and experience unique folk culture. Here, you can join lively Yi traditions like horse racing, bullfighting, goat fighting, and wrestling, feeling the Yi people’s passion and boldness. After retiring, little Ah Mei from the neighboring house resolutely sold her house in the county town and moved with her husband to Ergu Mountain outside the city. They built a small cottage, rented more than 200 acres of mountain land, mainly planted mulberry trees, and also started a farmhouse inn. They began a life of tilling the fields and enduring solitude and hardship, yet also enjoying freedom, happiness, and fulfillment. Upon learning of our return to our hometown, little Ah Mei, whom we hadn't seen in many years, warmly invited us to their mountain villa. We drank mulberry leaf tea, tasted mulberry fruits, ate firewood chicken, drank mulberry wine, and enjoyed dishes like cold mixed mulberry leaves, stir-fried mulberry leaves with eggs, and mulberry leaf steamed buns... I wish little Ah Mei's days ahead to be as vibrant as the flowers planted around her cottage, blooming profusely and prosperously!

The Jinkou River Grand Canyon is also known as the Dadu River Grand Canyon. As the name implies, the river in the middle of the valley is the Dadu River. After the construction of the hydropower station, the river of the Dadu River is very gentle. The grand canyon is located at the junction of Leshan Jinkou River, Ya'an Hanyuan and Liangshan Ganluo. It runs from the Jinkou River to the Us River in the east, with a total length of 26 kilometers. The canyon is less than 200 meters wide and the valley is 2,600 meters deep. It is steep and magnificent, comparable to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and the Grand Canyon of the United States.
