All Trip Moments about Graus
Graus offers visitors a downtown filled with historic sites. This is where intellectual Joaquín Costa lived and died
Spanish Pyrenees Hike ~ Huesca (Region)
The most important festival in Graus is the celebration of Saint Christ and Saint Vincent Ferrer, which takes place from September 12 to 15 and has been declared a national tourist attraction.
The town is world famous for its sausages and the oldest truffle market in Spain. Additionally, several centuries-old fairs are held here throughout the year.
When talking about its architecture, we must first mention the Cathedral of Our Lady of Penha, which is located under the Morar Rock and overlooks the entire town. The building was built in 1538 and features a beautiful Renaissance façade and elegant galleries with panoramic views of the city center.
The latter preserves several interesting sights: the main square, the seat of the town hall and other buildings with vivid neoclassical frescoes. Popular Barrichós is the oldest part of town and is home to the ancestral houses of the Mur and Solano families, both built in the 16th century, located in the Plaza de Coreche. At the end of this block there is a gate leading to the ancient wall built in 1589.
Also noteworthy is the Parish Church of San Miguel, originally a Romanesque building but which has undergone several renovations that have deformed its appearance. Inside the church are preserved impressive Gothic painted panels from the second half of the last century.

Town Center Square
Spanish Pyrenees Excursion ~ Huesca (Region)
A beautiful square, the town hall and many other noble houses are located here, decorated with very attractive colors and patterns. It has an irregular shape and is completely surrounded by arcades, some different from others, which gives it a unique beauty. There is a tourist office here, and several bars with terraces where you can stop along the way. One of the most beautiful squares in Aragon.
