#SpringTravel My visit to the Flower and Grass Garden last year was a fun and refreshing experience. When I arrived at the place, I was greeted by the bright colors of flowers and the beauty of the green grass swaying in the gentle breeze. I wandered through the paved paths and enjoyed seeing the different types of flowers and plants. The session in the picturesque nature was very relaxing and refreshing to the soul. I enjoyed the relaxation and meditation on the natural beauty around me and enjoyed the moments of tranquility and serenity in this charming place. The visit had a beautiful effect on my mind and I look forward to returning again to enjoy the beauty of this charming garden.

South Korea has plenty of exciting places to offer spread across the length and breadth of the country. A mix of both natural and artificial attractions diversify the go-to list for travel-loving visitors. I have been to many good places here in Korea during my stay. Yet there are still many missing dots left to be connected. Last weekend I visited Maisan Provinicial Park with family. The place is a lovely spot which has everything to offer for a day-long trip. The place is famous for stone towers which have been erected (not constructed with cement or any modern sonstruction aid) more than 100 years ago and are still standing. Also there is a Budhist temple here where people come and pay their respect.

#DomesticTravel I went to Maisan Tapsa Temple today after hearing that it was covered in beautiful snow, which I couldn't visit last time because I didn't have time. I've often heard that the snowy scenery of Tapsa Temple is beautiful, but it was really spectacular to see the stone towers piled up one by one with pure white snow. Maisan Tapsa Temple was even more beautiful because of the heavy snow, and the snowy Maisan Mountain seen from afar was really beautiful. Especially during sunrise or sunset, the scenery reaches the pinnacle of splendor. #fallingseason Maisan is a 686m mountain in Jinan. It gets its name from its resemblance to horse ears. In Korean, "ma" is horse and "!" is ear. "San" is mountain. The name of the tallest peak changes based on the season. In spring it is called Dotadaebong. In summer, it is called Yonggakbong. In Fall, it is Maibong. Finally, in winter, it is called Munilbong. In addition to the unique shape of the mountain, the most popular temple, Tapsa, is also strange. It's beautiful, but I didn't have time to visit there today. #fallingseason You may be interested in the scissor museum in Jinan. They claim to be the only scissors museum in the world. The museum is also located at the base of Maisan Mountain and there are trails that lead from the museum into the mountain. There are many scissors and lots of information to take in. Here are some things I learned. The oldest scissors found were sheep sheers from Greece that date to around 1000BC. There are ornate stork scissors used for cutting umbilical cords. The smallest pair of scissors was made by R. Smith Cutler in 1866 and are merely 17mm in length. If you like this type of museum, you may also be interested in the pencil museum in Donghae or the textbook museum in Sejong.

#fallingseason In the mountains of Jinan Country, near the beautiful Yedang Reservoir, there is a valley with huge boulders in the river. This was my first time crossing the bridge and I regretted it. My fear of heights definitely kicked in. So, not many pictures from when I was crossing. One of the rock formations is called the Great Buddha Rock because there is a rock on top of another rock in a similar manor to buddha statues. It is 40 in height. Because of the deep valley, you should go there at midday. Even at 2pm, you can see the shadows were taking over. You used to be able to get down to the river and take a swim, but with the recent construction, they have sealed off that entrance. For locations is Jucheon-myeon, Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

Maisan, one of the 100 most famous mountains in Korea selected by the Korea Forest Service, consists of Seobong (Ammaisan) 685m and Dongbong (Sumaisan) 678m, and is located on the border of the Sobaeksan Mountains and Noryeong Mountains. It is named Maisan because the shape of Dongbong and Seobong resembles a horse's ear. There are 448 steps between Dongbong and Seobong, and a spring gushes from Hwaamgul in the middle of Dongbong.
