During my three visits to Cebu, I always made sure to get a stone massage at Anikaspa, even if it was only for a short while. When I first visited Cebu, I felt the aftertaste of the stone massage that I had for the first time in my life, and it was so deep that I couldn't forget it, so I visited it twice or three times. As expected from Cebu's first luxury spa, the facilities are so luxurious, and even though it's a private building, the shop feels like a resort, and the landscaping is so pretty that I took a picture in the lush garden during the day, and it was a great shot. ㅎㅅㅎ The room condition is also great, and the person in charge of the massage is so kind and takes good care of my skin condition. Pick-up and drop-off are free, so you can move comfortably before and after visiting the shop. If you're looking for a stone massage in Cebu, definitely go to Anikaspa 💆🏻♀️

It doesn't belong to luxury resorts but it isn't cheap as well, more so on the mid scale prices of resorts in Lapu Lapu. The landscapes, the ambiance and the overall atmosphere of the resort is just nice. You can truly relax and chill here while you are in cebu. Their staff are also friendly and accommodating. I fell inlove the moment I saw it when I was searching for a place to get married in the Philippines. Shangrila has options for wedding packages so if you are going to tie the knot soon and you are in the planning stage already, you might want to consider Shangrila Mactan. Shangrila I guess has the best wedding location in my own opinion . They have the ocean pavillion as the selling point. We have the ocean wing wedding suite as well which is massive. At one point, there were around 30 people in the suite pre wedding for the preparation.

If you are looking for an affordable place to unwind, this is the place to be. the tent, cottages, tables and cabanas ranges from 250-2000 php. There is also a floating cottage which is 2000php rental for the whole day. However high tide starts from 8am onwards. The resort accepts booking reservations and walkin. For walk-ins, expect that the cottages are mostly booked. Must visit the place before sunrise!

There is a white beach not too far roughly 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the hotel have top-roof pool but they close the pool very early. There are quite a number of restaurants around (Western, Japanese, local restaurants) and there’s a street with street vendors they have local food and there’s a mall not too far with plenty of restaurants. First night we opted for a buffet in another restaurant but the hotel has it own restaurant just a bit pricy but its fine dining. Lovely restaurant with very vibrant staff. Portions are good. Ordered the Bam-i (delicious! Portion enough for 2-3 people), the honey garlic chicken for a couple (came with 4/5 pieces of chicken), the Shanghai lumpia (3 halved pieces with sauce) and pork bbq (delicious but beware very spicy sauce!). The Mango Float is a definite must! Would definitely recommend!

However, service needed much attention. Went This was an al fresco dining on the beach and it was so humid yet nothing was done to take care of this. Factoring all, I’m torn between treating it a good experience (good and ambience) and downright disappointing (service and temperature). To add salt to the wound, we highly recommended this place but with what went down, I reckon this would ever be considered again for a good place to eat. I mean more than a hour waiting time before you can finally eat is just to much.

I’m not really good at differentiating flavors and spices but with this… I was surprised myself that I could tell the flavors for every meal. The forestier burger was my personal favorite. But you could tell with the tenderloin how it was done to perfection — just the right tenderness that I prefer.
Excellent service from the staff — Miss Larra, Miss Abi, Sir Hex and Chef Daniel. Sir Hex was really attentive the whole time. It was really thoughtful of them to offer the right cutleries—Lightning MqQueen—for my little nephew and even granted our request for him to have a picture with the chef. Boko Beach also located in this compound which is Korean Own Place. They also serve some food and snacks - a bit pricey for Locals but cheap for foreigners 😝.
Also you can bring your own food if you want just to get wet with Vitamin Sea…🤪
Person in-charge and local Filipino are friendly.
Island Hoping Boat are also available, which mostly hosted foreigners.
