The Petronas Towers (Malay: Menara Berkembar Petronas), also known as the Petronas Twin Towers and colloquially the KLCC Twin Towers, are a pair of 88-storey supertall skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, standing at 451.9 metres (1,483 feet). From 1998 to 2004, they were officially designated as the tallest buildings in the world until they were surpassed by the completion of the Taipei 101 in 2004. The Petronas Towers are the world's tallest twin skyscrapers and remained the tallest buildings in Malaysia until 2019, when they were surpassed by The Exchange 106.

Pride of the nation🌇🌇 Twin Tower!!
#malaysia #petronastwintower #skysohobuilding #kualalumpur #anakmalaysia
Soaring to a height of 451.9 metres, the Petronas Twin Tower has been ranked as the top 20 tallest skyscrapers building in the world after the Exchange 106 in the same city. It was once the tallest building in the world from 1998 - 2004 with its 88 storey twin structure making it so well-known to the foreign tourists.
Remember the 1st time I visited the place when I was in my primary school, I am clueless what the building but just had fun with friends in the sky bridge. However, I reckon it’s an important building because it indeed put Malaysia on the map!!! Meeting some new friends while i was travelling but they barely heard about Malaysia, when I explained It was in between of Singapore and Thailand, they will normally responded: ohhh really???!! But the moment I showed the Twin Tower, It just suddenly dawn on them😅😅
Living in such a beautiful democracy country, Im proud to be a Malaysian🧡❤️ If you have never heard of the Malaysia before, put it in your bucket list and you will not be disappointed 💝

The towers are beautiful but the area is very crowded, which I think cannot be helped. It was a cloudy day when we went but the humidity was very strong.
The horoscopes look great and are better from a short distance. We were lucky so far that our hotel was very close so our suite was overlooking the towers.
We didn’t buy the tickets in advance so we took the advice of the hotel staff and
Along at 8am to stand in line ready to open at 8:30. The board was really helpful because it told us about the time periods that still had tickets available, so by the time we got to the ticket booth, we knew how long we were going to buy tickets for her. We decided to go at 7:30pm so we could see the twilight and night from the towers. There was a short wait so we could pass through security and then we were on our way in the elevator with our group. A colorful label is allocated to each group so they can keep you together in every part of the visit.
The Sky Bridge was halfway and we were able to spend 10 minutes there to take pictures and walk betwee the two towers. Then it was in the elevator to the top where we had about 15 minutes to marvel at the view. By the time we got there, it was dark so it looked more charming! There is a chance to buy a souvenir there if you want. Then he goes back to the elevator and back to the ground! It doesn’t seem like a lot of time in total but honestly it was too much for us to take the photos we wanted and then see the buildings from the park under them.

Genting Highlands
We took a day trip to Genting Highlands from Kuala Lumpur. We booked bus tickets online from KL Sentral to Genting Premium Outlets Awana station - the ride was about an hour, and the 20 ringit ticket included a cable car ride up to the resort and casino. After hopping off the bus, we spent several hours at the outlet mall having lunch, drinking coffee, and doing some shopping. Then we hopped on the cable car and rode up - unfortunately, it was drizzly and cloudy so fog obscure most of the view. The resort and casino at the top is impressive - there is a theme park for kids, a two-story casino, mall shops, and plenty of restaurants.

Beena's Signature Genting ❤️❤️❤️
#mymymemories
Everyone knows that the food at Genting Highland is very expensive and small portion.
However, l stumbled this restaurant, Beena's Signature located at T2-56B, Level 1, SkyAvenue Complex. The restaurant is serving authentic and delicious traditional Malaysian food made with fresh ingredients without premium asking prices.
This restaurant is pork free.
I ordered one fish burger and fried rice and the total bill was RM28.40 with free two drinks. Super value for money.
Taste was nice and portion was good. Service was fast and l will repeat if l go to Genting Highland again

Penang Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Sep)
Little Nyonya in Penang
Rent a Kebaya at the Nyonya Palazzo and you will get free entry into the Peranakan Museum (just next door)!
We had a good time exploring the museum (took so many photos and videos while pretending we are filming The Little Nyonya drama series with the family) and enjoyed some Peranakan food and kuehs thereafter.
Definitely one of the highlight for our Penang trip!

Pranglin Mall 1st avenue
#malaysia
The next time you are visiting penang, you can consider visiting the 1st avenue and the pranglin mall. The pranglin mall has been there for decades when we went there many years ago. Now with the newly opened 1st avenue mall, it really brings in the crowd. Similar to other shopping complexes, there are many retail outlets within the mall itself. There are many dining options to choose from. There is also a food court which serves a wide range of food at an economical and affordable prices at the higher level of the mall. We had our meal at the chicken rice restaurant located on the basement floor. We enjoyed shopping at both the malls which are just nearby each other. You can allocate an hour or two to visit the two malls.
Gardens at Temple
#malaysia
.There is a beautiful floral garden at the lek kok si temple. You would walk past the garden full of beautiful flowers. There are hibiscus, Roselle, marigold, mint flower, ginger flower, and many others. Resting at the sides of the garden are hundreds of Buddha statues surrounding the garden. There is hardly any shelter at the garden area as the plants require full sunlight to grow with good health. Bring along an umbrella or a hat when exploring the garden at the temple. You can take a grab from the town area to reach the temple for about 15 to 25 MYR depending on your location. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to reach here.
blessed to be living in multiracial country

Heaven of Kunafa
Kunafa fingers in Bukit Bintang served up a delightful treat! The dessert was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, leaving a lasting impression on my taste buds. The sweet layers of Kunafa pastry wrapped around the creamy, gooey cheese filling created an irresistible combination.
The portion size was just right, allowing me to savor every bite without feeling overwhelmed. The presentation was also appealing, adding to the overall experience. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, making the visit even more enjoyable.
Located in the heart of Bukit Bintang, the accessibility of Kunafa fingers was a plus, making it a great spot for a sweet indulgence after exploring the city.

Cameron Highlands Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Sep)
British cottage
Stayed at this gorgeous British cottage called Bala’s Holiday Chalet in Cameron Highland, the ambience is amazing and feels like you’re somewhere in English countryside. This place is a former British boarding school during the colonial period and then was bought by Mr. Bala. If you want to experience the English countryside without going to England, so don’t miss out this beautiful place.
The price is not expensive, it’s not far from the only bus terminal in Cameron highland and their scones are the best.#cameronhighland #Balasholidaychalet

Cameron during weekdays
#staycation #couplestrip
a short trip to Cemeron on weekdays for my not so honeymoon trip. from ipoh straight to cameron. road was clear as it’s weekdays. really like it. then went to the viral steamboat and cheese. the variety of food is so so. maybe we went to second branch. before that we check in the Century Pines. the check in okay but the hotel didn’t charge i ask for late checkout 1pm. the breakfast not that variety. thinking that they will put more strawberries and vegetables but they’re not. the sambal was sooo spicy. but the location was good. we got take a good walk after breakfast to the near park there. then we went to sheep sanctuary. nice and lots of sheep. we also try the viral cheese cake. for me the mango cake is the winner. wanted to have a tea but my mistake wrongly waze the location. overall the weekdays is a very good time to go visit cameron. you don’t have to q or stand with crowded people. i like 👍🏽
