The fourth leg of our trip was the alpine train from 𝘍𝘭𝘢𝘮 to 𝘔𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘭, which took about 45 minutes in total. Although you can freely walk around the train to capture the views outside, I personally recommend grabbing a seat on the right side, so you can get a clearer view of the train passing through the forests and lakes. Along the way, the train makes a 5-minute stop at the Kjosfossen waterfall (𝘒𝘫𝘰𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯), and the scenery is simply stunning. The final leg of our commute was a five-hour train ride departing from 𝘔𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘭. During this ride, you can watch the passing landscapes slowly transition from snow-capped mountains to cityscapes.
